River Edge Ambulance Line Of Duty Death

Posted on January 16, 2011

The New Milford Fire Department wishes to send its condolances to the River Edge Volunteer Ambulance Service and family for the loss of Matthew Pelletterre earlier today.

From the River Edge Volunteer Ambulance Service;

“It is with deep regret that I announce the passing of one of our members, Matthew Pelletterre.

Matt had responded to REVAS for a call today but had missed the rig. As the crew returned from the call which resulted in an RMA, they found Matthew unresponsive in the driveway. CPR was initiated and Matt was transported to HUMC where he was later pronounced.

Arrangements at Beaugards to follow. Please keep his mother in law Donna, father in law Steve, (Both REVAS members), his wife Danielle, and their kids in your prayers.”

Another Snow Storm !!

Posted on January 26, 2011

Here we go again! Another major snow storm heading our way. It seems that this winter will go down in the record books for the most snow accumalation. We can still see the snow from December 26, 2010.

With that said, please take the time to clear the accumulated snow around the fire hydrant in front of your home. This will make it easier for the fire department to locate and access the hydrant should there be a fire. Thank you for you support and cooperation.
