Here is the link to the Cape May County Fire Chiefs Assn for the HOT classes held in Wildwood the day before the Firemen’s Convention starts. http://www.cmcfirechiefs.com/2010hottrng.php That date is Thursday September 16, 2010. This year Brotherhood Instructors will be presenting our 8 hour all hands on Basic Engine and Ladder Company Operations Class. This class consists of Ladder Company operations in the morning and Engine Company operations after lunch. Ladder operations rotations include Vent, Enter, and Search under zero visibility, roof operations and cutting, and forcible entry directly followed by a primary search under zero visibility. Engine operations rotations include hand line selection and stretching, aggressive 1 ¾” advance through a residential building, and aggressive 2 ½” advance for commercial/standpipe operations.
