Sunday evening companies responded to the 500 block of the Boulevard for a reported fire in the oven. First arriving companies were met with smoke at the front door and an active fire in the oven. Engine 33 and Engine 34 extinguished the fire and removed the oven from the home. Home was turned back over to the homeowner and units cleared the scene in under an hour.
