The New Milford Fire Department regrets to announce the passing of Former Chief of Department Craig J. Maiocchi. Craig passed away early this morning at his place of rehabilitation. Craig's contributions to this department extend back to his days as a Junior Firefighter, which progressed through many years as a firefighter, line officer and Chief of Department 4 times. Craig's service to the community of New Milford, this department and his loving family, relatives and friends will be missed. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. All information will be provided through this channel, and other official means. Thanks to everyone who supported Craig, his family and closest friends during his infirmary.
