Company 2 announces they were the recent recipient of a $1000 grant from the Wells Fargo Foundation’s Community Partners Program. Employees from the New Milford Wells Fargo Bank branch were on hand at our August monthly meeting and presented the ceremonial check. The NMFD Company 2 will be using these funds towards the building of a new monument to honor our fallen and departed firefighters and those firefighters that met the ultimate sacrifice on September 11th, 2001. The monument will incorporate a 12 foot piece of steel from the World Trade Center provided to us by the Port Authority of NY & NJ.
